In 2022, the ACMG Foundation presented specially-adapted bicycles and helmets to Nashville-area children from the Angelman Syndrome Foundation and the Kennedy Ladd Foundation. This event was made possible through the generous support of PerkinElmer. The sentiments of ACMG Foundation President, Dr. Bruce R. Korf, FACMG are shared by many, “We are delighted to be able to continue our annual tradition of recognizing those who deal with genetic conditions every day of their lives through the Day of Caring. We can never forget the challenges faced by those whose needs we are dedicated to serve and hope that this event brings joy to their lives just as it does to ours.”
