ACMG members and friends of the ACMG Foundation have many ways to support the Foundation and its mission. As a designated 501(c)(3) organization, the ACMG Foundation facilitates charitable giving that advances genetics and genomics through education, training, research, and professional development.
Your support helps make programs and initiatives possible, including the Summer Genetics Scholars Program, Next Generation Fellowships, the Day of Caring, and educational programs. Ways to Give
Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from your IRA — If you are 70½ or older, a QCD from your IRA or 403(b) transfers directly to the Foundation tax-free, without counting toward taxable income. Please contact [email protected] for more information.
Cash Contribution via ACH Bank Transfer — Make your donation directly from your bank account via ACH. This option helps the Foundation avoid credit card processing fees, allowing more of your gift to directly support our programs and mission. Stock Transfer — Donating appreciated securities avoids capital gains tax while providing a full fair-market-value deduction. Please contact [email protected] for more information.
