The ACMG Foundation for Genetic and Genomic Medicine (ACMGF), in partnership with Illumina, has established a travel scholarship fund to support students interested in attending the 2019 ACMG Annual Clinical Genetics Meeting that will be held April 2-6, 2019 in Seattle, WA. The scholarship fund will help address the deficit in the genetics workforce by providing travel support to medical and graduate students who have a significant interest in pursuing a career in genetics and genomics. Award recipients will benefit directly from their participation in educational sessions, peer to peer engagement, and other professional development opportunities that take place during the ACMG Annual Clinical Genetics Meeting. Awards given will range from $500 to $1,750 per student.

Due to the positive response and number of applications received the Illumina Travel Scholarships selection and notification deadline has been extended to Tuesday, March 19, 2019.

Please return your completed application to the ACMG Foundation by Tuesday, March 18, 2019.
