2013 ACMG Foundation Annual Day of Caring:

At the 2013 Annual Clinical Genetics Meeting in Phoenix, the ACMG Foundation for Genetic and Genomic Medicine with the help of PerkinElmer, Shire, and members of the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics and the ACMG Foundation were able to donate 20 bicycles and helmets to children from the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Phoenix. ACMG Foundation Launches the Rimoin Lifetime Achievement Award Campaign

To honor a pioneer in medical genetics, a founder of ACMG and the first president of the ACMG Foundation, the ACMG Foundation has launched a campaign to endow the ACMG Foundation David L. Rimoin Lifetime Achievement Award in Medical Genetics with a financial aspect to elevate it to the most prestigious award in the medical genetics field and a fitting, living memorial to Dr. Rimoin.
