American College of Medical Genetics Foundation Welcomes
J. David Cotter as Director of Development

 

BETHESDA, MD – October 2, 2009 | The American College of Medical Genetics Foundation (ACMGF) has hired J. David Cotter, an experienced fundraising and development professional as its new Director of Development.

 

Cotter, a graduate of St. Edwards University and a Master of Public Administration student at George Mason University, brings more than 15 years of development experience to the role including experience with major gifts, capital campaigns, grants, foundations, fundraising solicitations and corporate relations. Formerly, Cotter held development posts with George Mason University, National Multiple Sclerosis Society – Maryland Chapter, The Bowling Foundation and Via Christi Oklahoma Regional Medical Center. 

 

The ACMG Foundation (www.acmgfoundation.org) supports a number of genetics educational and research initiatives that drastically improve the lives of millions of people. "We are delighted to welcome Mr. Cotter as the Foundation’s Director of Development. He will help raise funding for the critical work of the ACMG Foundation which saves lives and improves human health through the translation of genetic discoveries into better patient care." says R.
