The American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics Foundation (ACMG Foundation for Genetic and Genomic Medicine , a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is a community of supporters and contributors who understand the importance of medical genetics in healthcare.

Established in 1992, the ACMG Foundation for Genetic and Genomic Medicine supports the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics ; mission to "translate genes into health" by raising funds to attract the next generation of medical geneticists and genetic counselors, to sponsor important research, to promote information about medical genetics, and much more.

To accomplish our important mission the ACMG Foundation for Genetic and Genomic Medicine seeks restricted and unrestricted donations, sponsorships, and grants, from corporations, foundations, and individuals.

 

O N G O I N G   A W A R D S   A N D   F E L L O W S H I P S

 

ACMG Foundation for Genetic and Genomic Medicine Endowment The ACMG Foundation for Genetic and Genomic Medicine also accepts donations to fund or endow specific-named projects or funds. For example, you can endow a perpetual, named travel award for a donation of $40,000 or more. An endowed project will be paid from the interest earned on the principle, and the ACMG Foundation for Genetic and Genomic Medicine assumes an average 5% return annually. For a project with an annual cost of $50,000, a donor must endow it with a contribution of $1,000,000 or more.
